Limited Warranty

Each Recover security metal detector is designed and built to the highest of standards. Each unit is covered by a 12-month warranty. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and in materials to the extent tested prior to delivery. In the event that a unit is found to be defective in either workmanship or materials during the 12-month period after delivery, the manufacturer will repair or replace the unit at no cost to the buyer. All warranty claims shall be made to the manufacturer of the unit, regardless of any transfer of title or possession of the unit by a buyer to other parties. Proof of purchase date may be required to verify the 12-month limited warranty period. Warranty claims shall be made in writing to the manufacturer within 30 days of the alleged defect. This warranty shall not apply to a unit that has been modified, abused, repaired by someone other than the original manufacturer or used in a manner not consistent with the operating instructions. If, after proper inspection by the manufacturer, a unit is found not to be covered by the warranty, then the buyer shall be responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning the unit to the buyer. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, either expressed, implied or statutory, including, without limitation, warranties-of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and any other warranty is hereby expressly disclaimed and excluded.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE BUYER OF ANY RECOVER SECURITY METAL DETECTOR, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, INCLUDE ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR CLAIMS FOR LOST BUSINESS OR LOSS OF PROFITS, EVEN IF THE BUYER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH POTENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE. THE LIABILITY OF TIME.

MANUFACTURER OF THE RECOVER SECURITY METAL DETECTOR, OUT OF SUPPLYING THE PRODUCT OR ITS USE, SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE OR ACTION, WHETHER BASED UPON BREACH, NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE, EXCEED THE ORIGINAL COST TO THE BUYER OF SUCH PRODUCT, REGARDLESS OF ANY PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL,  INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, WHICH ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH THE FAILURE OR DEFECTIVE PERFORMANCE OF ANY RECOVER SECURITY METAL DETECTOR.
